Mary Helen Callier 

 





Mary Helen received her MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was an Olin Fellow and the winner of a Howard Nemerov Prize. She grew up in Columbus, Georgia and is currently a doctoral student in English and Literary Arts at the University of Denver.

Her first book, When the Horses, was a finalist for the 2023 Bergman Prize and the winner of the Alice James Editor’s Choice.
