Mary Helen Callier



Mary Helen Callier received her MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was an Olin fellow and the winner of a Howard Nemerov Prize. She is currently a doctoral candidate in English and Literary Arts at the University of Denver, where she serves as one of the poetry editors for Denver Quarterly. Her first book, When the Horses, was the winner of the 2023 Alice James Editor’s Choice.
